According to market information, in US, the proportion of luminaries to total power consumption is 20%, while the proportion in China is 15%. If the 28 million high pressure sodium streetlamps in China are replaced by high efficiency LED streetlamps, an amount of RMB 58 billion of electricity and maintenance fee can be saved every year.
